So, even though I'm not really looking into buying any of the new sweets pro mods anytime soon, I really like the pro player cards that are included with them. They are really nicely made, and it got me thinking that it is kind of a shame that you can only get them that way. Even though I'm not like the biggest pro admirer in the scene, I think the idea of a baseball cards of the pros and other noteworthy persons in the kendama world, like Iwata or Sourmash, is kind of neat. I am actually studying multimedia design, and this would be a neat free-time project for me, if I could get some good photos of all the pros that is. There is basis for quite the card set with all the noteworthy people in the kendama world today I think. I saw rarity of different kendama stuff if they were cards being talked about in another thread, but what would you guys think of like a "pro" series of kendama cards? Is it a bit too much? I think it could be fun if they were used as cheap extra throw-in's for regular kendama orders from the different companies.
Wow that's a cool idea if say every order you get a card, and kids would probably go crazy for em too!
Yeah! Like the cards would have the same style no matter the company, but it would be different players depending on where you ordered from. I would also be into that you could just buy the whole collection somewhere, so it does not get too out of hand. It's not supposed to be a moneygrab after all. In Denmark, we had these collectible animal cards that you would get a pack of for you kids when you bought something in Bilka (our walmart). People ended up going completely nuts, spending insane amounts on stuff they did not need, so that they could get the cards for their kids - it was really dumb.
You can also make a full deck of playing cards that can potentially be seen in small gambling circles at kendama events worldwide! Good luck!
That'd actually be pretty cool as well! 52 different cards with 52 different players on them, and just play poker or whatever with them. I almost like that idea even more, cause it would be better as a stand alone product
Besides pro's, you can include legendary damas (i.e. TK16, ozora, terra, GT) and bit of info on them. Who/what will make the face cards as royalty?
