I have a kendama rack that I made and it works decent, but if you push one over, they all domino and roll off. It's super scary when all eleven kendamas fall at once, especially at night . What kendama racks do you have? PS. I'll post pictures later
I have a rack that I made that holds 8 damas across the top row in their each hole. Then underneath it holds a area I use for stickers and and area for my strings/pins and then a area for a regular and jumbo pill! I am actually looking to sell it because I want to make a different one to fit for the new house we are moving to! I'll see if I can post a pic later!
Try putting an indent to the rack (an inward slant) like the kengarden racks. It helps increase surface contact area, and the slant helps prevent damas from falling off. It's a small hack of sorts, but i think it's gonna help you save a lotta money.
Only at the very end where the mugen was. They will domino if one tips but they won't just tip. It helps of the back wood is more rough
Mines only did it once because I hit one and knocked off like three. It fits snug enough that it can't take all 18 off the rack
You could try a design like mine and a Dama tree. The gap wood I used was about two inches tall and half an inch thick. It's just base board flipped around that the cups hook onto. You could use anything for the back.
It may work. If you want me to give you all the info perfectly send me a message and I'll gladly help you out.
Thanks bro. I'll just do a fixerupper to the rack I have and see how it works. I'll post the results soon enough
