So you cant think of a trick to do next? You are stuck in a kendama slump? come to this thread and look for someinteresting tricks. Maybe you guys can write down some interesting tricks you have in mind for others to try For example. Ive come up with this one trick i tried and it seems posible. Airirplane- one turn to tap - tamaflip in Dont know if you understand. But after you airplane it... start with jaystick but tap it when it half turns then tamaflip while ken flips for one turn and then catch it ill try to film it. dont expect it soon hhh Or interesting one i did the other day is to hold the ken. Pull up tama, trade to stun(t)plane and fasthand it.
They both sound sweet I haven't posted a clip on the IG in a while I'll probably do something that has to do with fasthand or tama turns
Best part about kendama is the ability to do anything you want with it as long as you practice. Anything is possible
Here is a new one im workin on. Its jumping stick but as ken turns in the air you rotate tama in hand (there is a certain motion i cant explain) and catch ken like stunt plane. So jumping stick (ken makes one and the half turn) stuntplane ill film it... youll see it
I like it. I think the name for the tama spin in your hand is 'whirlpool', though I never really liked that name
@htimSxelA I think it was Typhoon, coined by The Void. I don't know if it was based on the translation of a Japanese name, or just chosen by him.
Isn't whirlpool an entirely different trick? It's the trick when you hook the string to your finger (while tama spiked to ken), and you start spinning/swirling the whole thing around your finger?
Maybe but I call that one infinate slinger, don't know for sure where I got that though. Don't quote me on that, I don't know much
That's what I know whirlpool as. It was a KWC trick in 2014 (and maybe 2015) I've done this before but with just a half turn instead. This is a cool trick! Definitely gonna try it out next time I jam
Ahh yea, thats the one. Though in my mind that will always be PIZZA, cuz bitterbeans, and me and the homies always used to say PIZZA! when spinning it around
