I just ordered one today, super hyped for it to come in. I've heard the shape is amazing and the tama has incredible stick. Hope this helps!
super tacky, and really good for everything. I think they are best for stalls and stilts. the wider cups help a ton for slingers, and the bigger cups are great for balances and instas, or even just cups lol. the spike comes pretty short, but once you push it down a little it is amazing for lunars! i would definitely recommend picking one up. Especially for the price!
What wood are they? Also the kusa classics have a more slim shape and that I like more. But I might cop one I don't have a sweets yet.
My friend @Chewbacadama got a bunch the day they came out and he loves them soooo much! That's all he has been jamming for the past week!
I just copied and pasted this from the another thread about the prime, I would recommend one for sure: My homie copped immediately and I was able to sesh one last night, DO NOT SLEEP on these damas. I was taken aback on how nice of a kendama it was for only 20 bucks. Slingers were insane, lunars just slapped, and stalls locked in. The paint is almost like a fresh DWI sticky af but with a little more slip to it. Im interested to see how they break in
Been seshing mine for a couple days now. So far the paint has the perfect amount of slip and tack. Normally I'm pretty inconsistent with lunar flips, but this thing just bangs em out. Lunar balance is spot on. Someone said something about a short spike... I think it just looks short in comparison to the big cup. Holy cow that thing is huge!
So from the website I take it the prime line has taken over the F3 line. I really want to jump on and buy some for myself, but I'm waiting for this line to develop more the current color ways. I have a NextGenHG and I am dying to compare the two.
So the Prime is essentially the same shape as the NextGen HG right? I have a Prime and briefly played a new HG and they seemed similar but I don't have both to compare side by side.
Its only been out for a week, so you probably won't get the full scoop for a bit.. I've had mine since Friday and this is what I've noticed so far: First couple days the clear coat is super tacky. Since then it has gotten a lot more slip. It allows the ken to slide around on the tama but slows it down significantly. I like it since it allows for making corrections better than most other tacky coats I've used. I'm curious to see what happens once it fully breaks in.
Loving the prime off the bat, perfect mix, sticky enough for balance tricks but slick enough to make corrections, we'll see how it breaks in
