Dama Talk is back! If you've been in the dama game for a while, you may have listened to Dama Talk Vol 1, a podcast-style interview I did with Keith Matsumura a little over three years ago. Today, I'm stoked to launch Dama Talk Vol2! The idea to kickstart the series again came up not too long ago in another DS thread, and after a bit of backend work, we're ready to go live. In vol2 I interview Philip Eldridge, Rodney Ansell, and Craig Langkaas, with the conversation ranging from life in Denmark, to our new retail shop in Vancouver, to some 'would-you-rather' questions, and more. So sit back, relax, and enjoy listening in as we nerd out on all things kendama. Vol3 coming sooner than you may think!
Stoked. Super happy to see more kendama related podcasts resurface and appear throughout the community!
Yes!!! This is what I've been waiting for! Love all the new podcasts & vlogs coming out, but i always would say i want @htimSxelA to do one because ive learned so much from just his posts. Enough fangirling, time to pop the headphones on
tight stoked to have this back finally, shoutout to @Philip Eldridge for snagging my phone fish lens from me
Yo Smith I didn't even listen to Vol 1 until now. Definitely sick to listen to some of the good memories. How old were you when you first came to Wenatchee? Funny how you said you were nervous about coming because we were for sure the same. Miss ya dood.
I just recently found out about this, havent even heard the first one and I'm already excited. This is what my day needed
Also, hit me with any feedback you have on vol1 / vol2! I know vol2 is a little bit disorganized at times, vol3 is a little different in that regard, its much more interview style. Excited to keep releasing these, but definitely open to feedback so I can keep improving on them! Let me know what you liked / didnt like about it
I loved it! Rabbit holes are great to run down and I think the rapid fire and "would you rather" are cool too. But I'd also love it if you continued to go deeper, especially with folks that have been around and in it for so long. I liked yours and Keith's musings on your own philosophy and benefits of kendama. Stuff like that.
Yeap! They'll be pushed to an RSS feed so you can get em through the traditional podcast channels. I'm posting them here first, but after a short period of time I'll switch each episode to 'public' so you can get em via RSS
