    This company just relisted their product, which I bought in the past. Great price, but takes forever.

    Are these the correct size? And can you just grab 1 or 2 at Home Depot or a similar star?

    You can try a hobby store that deals with RC car parts. It's too tiny a bearing for a home improvement store. The size is listed: 681xzz

    That listing is for 10 bearings at $11 free shipping. Hell of a deal!

    Clicking blue text works for me. In app.

    I'll take a photo of them in about three weeks when they get here and post. If I get a chance I can photo this vs a slaydawg for comparison. I also bought the dama mods, but don't remember which ones I put them on.

    Sometimes the way a hole is drilled in a tama the part right before the string hole is just the right size to catch the bearing and bind it making it really worse than just a knot. On kendama like that I've actually used the wheels off of a "finger board" which, because of the larger size, jumps the hole's gap and functions as it should.

    Saw at target a 4 pack of boards with extra wheels for $12. May have to try this out.

    Make sure they have the metal bearings in the wheels. I've read some don't have them.

    There were no bearings in the wheels. The wheels were attached to the trucks by screws.

    @Congarranza

    I have a few rc's, a couple micros that I no longer use, I just ripped one out of the steering hub and it was a perfect fit.

    Here are some pics... I just got a 40 second spin time. Link to bearings below ( but any small bearing should work for this application)

    @amagad Here's a spin test I did a while back. I got 3:24 out of it.

    4th thumbnail shows truck mounted incorrectly. Safety first! Don't try this at home, kids!

    Ok, I was wondering why my spin times weren't as nearly as awesome, my bearings are all gunked up, I think you may have discovered a new fidget, spinning a tama on bearings to see how long they spin.

    @amagad Also that's an 80g tama. I imagine the weight helps.

    So do these really help with play allthat much? Or does it simply stop the string from getting all twisted.

    I do notice on some of my other kens that came with bearings, I see minimal to no twisting, If you can buy the bearings it's a worth while upgrade.
