They seem to have a following, was looking at the stuff they make, seems to be quality shit, he takes balancing seriously which is nice.
All I gotta say is wow... picked up two pear stripes, oh so beautiful! Sooo tacky and the finish is phenomenal I didn't expect them in my mailbox so soon, so cool surprise for a Saturday evening, can't wait to play with one, hopefully tomorrow.
@amagad It took me a few to figure out that first photo. It's the logo inverted cut through the tama paint right?
Ahhh these photos are huge, "upload a file" needs an option to resize, but yeah the logo is cut through the tama paint. These striped pears look more like sour apples @goenKendama I wonder if that could cause premature wear on the paint although, I'm not too concerned about it.
@amagad I use Flickr for the photos I post to cut the load times and it gives several size options for embedded photos too. It even has limited editing. Just guessing but since that area of the tama usually doesn't get that hammered it shouldn't be a problem. Usually on my own tama it's the hole area that gets beat. about the only wear that has happened around the string hole is a ring worn where the knot rubbed.
@Congarranza its gotta be, the engraving is slightly etched into the tama and its darker compared to the natural wood, and very precise. I'd have to place a bet that it is laser engraved. They also include more stickers for the ken if the one on there happens to peel off, nice. @goenKendama ahhh nice analysis. So with your photo, I could see the likeliness of the string peeling the paint away around the engraved logo.
@amagad @Cheech_Sander when I tap an image in-app, it will toggle it between 'full size' and 'fit to screen'. Same for you? (I'm on iOS)
