It's not the end of the world. My assumption is that they did a small batch to create hype and they'll keep on rereleasing it in small batches. We'll get our hands on one eventually!
I didn't think I would be able to cop because the drop was in the middle of the night over here. I had to get up early for work today and thought I would miss it anyway even if I'd try.. but then, without any alarm set, I mysteriously woke up at 1:55 am, 5 mins before the drop. So with one eye open I searched for my phone, gave it a shot and got Ben's mod! Only about 2 mins later they were all gone. Couldn't sleep for another hour because of the hype :v
Does anybody know what "small batch" means exactly? I could see it being called small batch if they made anything from 20 to 500.
I'd feel like 500 would be KUSA's level in terms of production and warehouse inventory. That's also a lot of Kendamas for @Matthew Rice to have at his home lol. From my thought process, manufacturing 500 as a small business with their quality control and working on other companies' orders seem pretty difficult. Now this is coming from my speculation that these people who run the facility do this as a second job (cause arent all the main guys working as full time engineers for their respective company?) I would imagine somewhere in the 30-50 range at most. And even if they did 100, I can't imagine them selling out a $100 kendama in 3 minutes. That's just crazy lol.
