I generally refrain from using the fisheye for videos, due to annoying levels of chromatic aberration, but when it happens, yes you will be able to see the dead cat at the corner of your video, just by a small bit.
Oh I didn't realize it until now, nice DAC, I have JDS element, love JDS labs. been contemplating a c5d for portability
Thanks! I chose the C5D as it was the closest sound sig i can find to my old Objective O2 amp. The latter is one of the best (if not the best) amps i've ever owned, but what i really wanted was a super compact, ultra portable setup (i velcro-ed my C5D on to my Mac, for ease of use). Hopefully i could revisit NwAvGuy's ODAC combo when i can afford it (both the O2 and ODAC are made and sold via JDS as well).
@amagad @azleonhart Since we're on to headphone amps now, quick question: What are you using as your source? I have an old iPod with a 30pin adapter to bypass the built-in headphone amp via the 3.5mm jack to use with an old Fiio e7 but I don't really carry it around; kind of clunky. I was hoping to be able to improve my mobile setup but that 3.5 jack on the Samsung isn't going to give me great sound.
@goenKendama i primarily use my Mac as a source via USB, in order to take advantage of the DAC in my C5D. On mobile, my trusty iPod Video uses the LOD (Line Out Dock) adapter, directly to my amp. For your Samsung device, try this solution!
