Play ken with anyone in the world?!

Nike skate boarding has an app where you can play skate with anyone around the world that would be cool if we can do that with ken on Downspike , and they also have trophies you get for Landing tricks which would be awesome on here. What do you guys think

 

Giant Ken game thread? Post a trick, everybody has a week to land, if you don't you get a letter, first to land sets next week's?

A week might be too long. A few days or a 24 hour deadline would be fun to keep things moving.

 

Depends on the trick tho.

Seems fair to make different levels, so everyone can join in on the fun.

 

Even if it's a hard trick, if I can't get it in a few days I deserve the letter. It's a game.

 

Eh just make a few different games for different level players

 

Would we put it on the sesh, sessions, or something else?

Well how I was thinking in the game of KEN would be, everyone who wants in gets a week to sign up, and a list of names is made like so:
Austin B. _ _ _

Someone sets a trick video, everyone has a certain amount of time to post a video landing it. If they don't, the list is updated to give those who didn't land it a letter, and the first person to land sets the next week's.

Could easily just be done in threads in the sesh without adding anything new, although deeper integration at some point to streamline it would be sweet.

The edit comp idea would be awesome too, no reason to not do both!

We also need some one on one callout edits, player makes an edit, calls somebody out, when they respond the community votes on the winner.

But we have to think about it, because what if for example someone will do like really really advanced pro trick, game is over. I think there should be trick lists or something like that.

 

Well if nobody can land it, then it's just a null trick and nobody gets a letter? Then the second place from the previous sets a new one maybe?

I think there should be like, intwrmediate, advanced and pro groups. And I believe pros wouldn't play in intermediate groups because it won't be fun. I mean e have to think about what to do with this because it would be way better if possibility of winning wasn't only for pros.

 

What would be cool is a really big list of tricks suitable for each category with about fifty tricks for each level (if there are that many for each level). Then you should be able to set like a line of three max of those tricks. There should be a week for players to join and then an order is picked. The first player then has say a twelve hour or twenty four hour time limit to set the trick. The defenders then also get the same amount of time to land it. People get a letter if they miss a trick. Then it repeats for the next person
