Laced kendamas Ash silk canary! super honed for everything. the tama has just the right amount of slip and stick
Not my favorite, but I think the Norx mod is rad. But I just put this together. Matt Sweets promod x what I think is a roots mystery tama. I have about four damas glue drying right now, including this one. I haven't jammed it much, the tama has never been played until today. I think this means I have an old sweets pro clear tama somewhere.
OG HG ash X kaizen 2.0 maple half split. This is my lightest setup Ken: 62.4g Tama: 67.6g. Currently trying to work through Around Turnbridge Wells and variations of it. So a nice and light setup helps the endless grind. @azleonhart what are you using for this challenge?
BLK OG ASH with a Fruit Punch Homegrown Cush and a green kusa string...just strung it up yesterday and it slays like crazy. Landed about a dozen first time tricks so far on this beast.
Anything painted with Sweets aTack paint since it's the perfect tackiness for me in the high humidity of the Philippines and stays tacky all the way to bare wood. The one on the right is my current favorite with an 80g/80g split and good lunar balance. A buddy of mine hit the ken with a wood stain and it doesn't change the feel of the wood but keeps it looking fresh. (Yes the one on the left started life as a Rasta aTack too)
Sorry for the late reply! There were a ton of threads to read through suddenly haha! I'm using my SuDawg for the Tunbridge Wells challenge! Wanted to use the Bastille which i won from a DSGS, but i figured i'd keep that for another challenge!
@Congarranza already saw this, now my most favorite setup which is the least playable one (its a collection piece). Thank you @DPatten, true craftsman and attention to detail is captivating, a photo can't do this Tora justice. DWI Zebrano ken Tora Tama by @DPatten Here is the "Liger" (half lion half tiger)
Matt Sweets 2014 pro mod tama x kaizen 2.0 maple ken. Slayed ridiculously hard when it was fresh and broke in to perfection. Easiest Ken I've ever played for balance tricks.
