Also hate how the so called "kendama higher ups" always hate on smaller companies, no we may not have 12,000 dollars to spend on a batch of kendamas, so the 500$ batches we make are the best we can do at the time. Obviously Kendamausa Sweets and Keon are the best companies to buy from, solely because they have the money to put in to a company that many smaller companies do not. Just my opinion....
It really sucks that Laced has gotten slammed from the get-go with all this negativity. Everyone is constantly going on about promoting kendama and getting more people in to the hobby, but when someone wants to open a little shop the response is "your products are too bog-standard, you don't bring anything new to the table. Get out."? As @Ryan Brewer said, we should be building people up and wishing them well; maybe there will be a chance for them to innovate in the future. At the same time, I can see that whoever manages the company's social media accounts (at least on here and on Reddit) tends to lean towards the hostile side when responding to criticism. Jerks can post whatever they want on the internet, and so can you, but as a company you are expected to act professionally and be the adult in this situation. Snapping back at people reflects extremely poorly on your company.
There is already a hundred small kendama companies that aren't bringing anything to the table. Why do we need one more. In every industry, you don't make a start by making an average product that is the same as every other product on the market. Make something worth having, and no so called "kendama Higher up" will say any ill words towards you.
Actually you literally explained the whole struggle of a small kendama company brilliantly. We don't have the money to spend on a well above product. Thanks
