hey! I was wondering if anybody here likes longboarding? I Love freeride, and to do stand up slides and stuff. If U like longboard, whats your current setup? Favorite brand?
Love long boarding! Just cruising though... I have this board! https://jet.com/product/detail/8514...sse96GZavA2bszEVgANzo-cE7bTjuMp8j0aAqup8P8HAQ I really want to try like slides and different things, I just don't live in the right area!
Oh i didnt lognboard for years. Used to commute to colege and some easy downhills. I love it. Maybe ill do some downhills soon. i ride bustin spliff board. But also i have one that is custom made from old snowboard pintail lookalike.
I ride a Sector 9 Kraken Drop through deck with some butterballs. Love to just cruise down hills and lace some simple tricks.
Used to longboard pretty frequently. Don't do any serious downhill anymore but I do still love my loaded kanthaka. It's long enough to bomb if you need to but has nice pop if you need to ollie up a curb. Chico does have some fun hills tho!
I did downhill for a while but now I'm out of the game. Still have all my equipment that I'm trying to sell so I can buy more kendamas . I still cruise around town frequently.
I had a nice quiver, then shattered my ankle. I gave it all away to good friends. When I come back to it, I'll get something nice. I had an in with the sector 9 factory in San Diego, so all my stuff was from them.
I don't ride as much nowadays. anyways, I was too scared to try downhill but i just cruised/carved around especially on campus during college. My set up was a landyachtz drop carve, paris v2s, otang 4prez <3
I used to longboard, stopped after a few years though. I was into everything, dh, freeride and techsliding. I loved long boarding but it got to repetitive for me I had a truncated tesseract with bustin precisions and always changed my wheels up. For the tech slider set up I rode a loco 35 with bear trucks and pink power balls.
I longboard, only cruising/carving so far. No slides or anything yet. I started around 2 months ago with a Northern Pine AllPine with Gullwing rasta trucks and S9 race formula wheels.
You got a cheap longboardfor sale? I literally know nothing about the market but am honestly pretty down to grab one.
Your best bet would probably be to check out Craigslist and such. From experience I can tell you that shipping a longboard is quite expensive. I've got a landyachtz and a Never Summer Heist. I really love longboards for getting around, cruising and carving. I attempted downhill a few years back, went way too big for my first time, ended up with terrible road rash. Lesson learned.
