Posting this thread as a cautionary tale. Always take care of your damas guys. Lost my KUSA Kaizen 2.0 Trip Split Ash today. I don't even know how or why, but I just lost it; I suspect it fell out of my bag somewhere. What kendamas have you lost, how did you lose them, and how to prevent kendama loss? Comment below!
I lost a Krom Noia pack m friend gifted me. Got to feel twice as shitty, lose my nice dama I wanted to jam and a gift from a friend all at once. RIP, I often watch my old vid with it to reminisce.
Lost a honed pink F3. The thing had just become perfectly broken in and the pro clear was a magical ratio of slip/stick. Gave it to a kid to try while I was in the pool and he said he lost it
My condolences for the loss, but i'm more intrigued in that restaurant you went to. Whereabouts, and what did you eat?
Hawker's Delight, a little tiny spot that is a real gem, its on Main St near King Edward Ave in Vancouver. I usually split a mee siam and gado gado with Kristin when we go, plus a stack of these deep fried veggie fritters they make! Mmm
I mistakenly gave only the sarado and tama of my first kendama to a friend and by the time I found the ken they lost the rest. Now I'm left with only the ken of my first kendama, forever regretful I did that. I should have at least found the ken first then give it to him! Edit: It was a super OG dark blue translucent Sweets.
mmmmmmm good choices! I gave them a quick Google search, and they cover almost every Malaysian dish out there! I'd say give a shot to Mee Rebus and Tofu Goreng!
I think I've tried the mee rebus... I'd have to stop in there to be sure though. Their veggie curry is pretty epic too. I can eat a LOT, and its literally too much food for me!
