The next wormhole! Futuristic kendama mod!

So.... I saw this picture from masako_damaart on Instagram...

...and I got inspired! This could be the next GT wormhole! I threw an old Ken on the drill press and drilled straight down the spike so that now my string comes out the tip.

I didn't stop there. I also strung the tama backwards so the bead sits on the outside and the string runs out the bevel.

With this new age setup I am able to do some different (and kinda lame) tricks.

I haven't really played around with it too much because I mostly think it is stupid, but if you guys can think of any cool tricks for this setup put em below!

BTW if this is the future of kendama then I'm switching to fidget spinners!

Actually there is a Japan pro player did that a while back with a lot of cool tricks.
Give me some time, hope i can dig it out for y'all

I actually drilled all the way down to the original hole and tied the knot there.

 

Had to rechuck the bit and super max it out for the last part of the hole
