Natty ozora are my hands down favorite but a super close second is pink oozys. TKs are OG and al but I hate how long they take to break in shin fujis are dope af but felt kinda cheap and mugens play like premium ozora so nothing super fancy about em but were defiantly ahead of their time
I always seem to go back to my natty Tk-16, tho in my recent move i somehow lost the Tama? so i just threw a keyaki Tama on it and never looked back
Hmm I had a natty TK16 on my rack at home for a while, but right now there aren't any JKA damas up there!
Sky Blue ozora has got to be my fav there is just something about it, as awesome as these new kendama designs are i just keep coming back to it.
Maple ozora: favorite wood, you can never go wrong with an ozoara they just feel great in the hand too
Natty Oz or premium white Oz. I have my friend putting a design on my natty tk16 so I'm excited for it.
Basically any Ozora. I'm jamming a maple ozora at the moment and love it. You definitely need one @Ben Lowe
I second that. The Japenese Maple Ozora is one of my best kendamas. I slapped a silk string on that bad boy and it plays like butter. Slays so hard.
Yo, the maple Oz is such a beast. Happened to have an almost dead on maple Sourmash tama, and the pairing is perfect! Clacks are soooo good on it!
..this is a joke, right? Anyways, pretty sure it's not JKA approved. I don't even think Japan has these...
Right now, I'm on that Premium White ozora hype. Doesn't feel sticky in the hand, but it plays with that little bit of stick you don't expect from a fresh JKA dama. Overtime it only gets stickier and honed in for stalls, so it's a win-win.
