Tricks that look easier than they are

What are tricks that, in your opinion, are harder than they seem?

Right now, I can think of this trick at the 2:35 mark of Oakland Slay Day.

Jake Wiens does this weird J-Stick Slinger fusion and I still can't get it to go for some reason.

 

Downspike

 

Small inward lunar back flip

 

Dude lunar tricks make my soul hurt. :/

 

Check my new new must watch edit, the inny loony back flip combo is the least impressive

 

Double and triple down earths. Also a down earth that starts from the upright position and then spins 1.5 tamas into a downspike. I call this trick a Pole Switch, try it, it is not easy.

Also inward loons, they are just so hard for me to lace.

It looks a lot easier than it actually is a lot of people look at me when I am playing, and sometimes they want to try it and it is like "wow, how is it so hard?" (Trying big cup )

 

Whirlwinds look as hard as they are in my opinion. They were such a grind for me lol.

 

That sweets to loon was cool, gotta try that one for sure. I do this reverse mounted airplane and than spin the airplane a few times into a one turn loon, kinda reminds me of that.

This will be general but JUGGLES & INSTAS are simple yet hard, even if doing it by accident/sketch...

 

What is down earth?

 

It is where you do a downspike and then do a downspike earth turn, so like upside down.

Moon circles. For some reason I just can't. catch. the. ken. It kills me.

 

Same, whirlwinds changed my life. Whirlwind is the trick that I deemed literally impossible when I first played kendama. when I finally laced, it blew my mind how fast I could learn something if I just put all my efforts towards it.

 

Downspike fast hands. They took me a long time to get and I still can barely do them.
