shoutout mi goreng lunch, and @azleonhart cause Malay food is good food Craft 2.0 + pairs perfectly with this dish
They're tasty! I dont know if I love or hate the 5 different seasoning / topping packs though. The saucy ones get kinda messy lol
This is awesome! I really love how people outside of South East Asia are raving about Indomie and treating this like crack hahaha You have got to read Amazon reviews on this. So hilarious! Wait, i’ll attach one! As for me, Nissin is my go-to for instant ramen. My particular favorite is the Raoh series (but i ran out of them), so the localized Nissin will do (i keep two 5-packs at work, in case i get hungry.
I ate these on the reg in Bali, but you gotta get the jumbo pack. It's fun to get creative with its recipe as well. A bit of soy sauce and sesame oil does well. Take it easy on the kecap manis, stupid high msg levels.
i find that Indomies are the best with Indonesian sambal ijo, which is a hand-ground (with pestle and mortar) mixture of green chillies, shallots and vinegar. Best eaten with grilled lamb chops (sans the sauce, just good ol' salt n' pepper), if you're feeling luxurious.
I love sesame oil, and Philip from Krom just mailed me a sesame seed grinder so I'm all set for sesame sesh! Some green onion on top is prime too, for simple add ons.
@Cheech_Sander @lategreat808 @azleonhart you thought eggy tamas were bad? Apply tamas are a whole other level! I'd rather drop an egg in my soup, anyways
Hehe, yes I guess I do. One of the things that sets our shop apart is that we have monthly kendama/ramen challenges. If you can complete a kendama challenge you can win a discount on your ramen but no "ringers" allowed; each customer has to try the trick themselves. photo credit Raindeocampo
I'm hungry and its cold in the DotD shop today... which means this photo is reeally making my belly grumble. Looks tasty!
I found organic instant ramen at my local healthy foods store! Jimbos has 'em! If you know a Jimbos store, cop some of that new new fresh fresh stankey dank dama ramen!
Ramen is the best! I successfully made an awesome batch of it the other night and I’m stoked! I’ve tried many times to make dishes like curry and they never turn out right for me. I finally found an Asian dish that I can make!
