I don't think there's a thread like this on Downspike yet, but I think this would be a neat idea. On this thread, post dama dares that are open to the DS Community! Those people that choose to do the dama dares may then post their clips here. Great way for us to progress in kendama by helping each other! I'll start: Around the Three J-Sticks in a Row (for those practicing for MKO this year).
I definitely wanna complete this today. Have mercy on me as a total n00b but, does this just mean three J sticks in a row? The "around the" has me confused.
Around tricks refer to doing all three cups and whatever line is after the "around" in the trick name! For example Around Three J's would be: big cup, three J's, small cup, three J's, base cup, three J's. Also the order of big and small cup is interchangeable depending on personal preference of the player. Hope this helped!
Here's some dares 1) juggle 180, 360, 720 luner rover( juggle to regular lunar first, then after that juggle to were it ended) then flip in or something 2) 1,2,3 insta lighthouse flip 3) triple kenflip swap lighthouse insta flip juggle DOWNSPIKE
I was watching a sweets vlog and coop pointed the camera at Norx and he laced a 1,2,3 whirl first try. I don't understand
Norx says on an episode of NoJumper that he and Coop, during grind days, sesh for about 8-10 hours. If you're dedicated and put in the work, a trick like that becomes easy for anyone.
some dares for anyone reading: - 2 turn lighthouse, double lighthouse flip, 2 turn swap spike - 1 turn airplane, 1.5 flip to lighthouse, 1.5 flip in - around stalls: big cup, bird, small cup, nightingale, base cup, handlestall, spike - lightning drop swap bird, airplane in
I got the first two. Got to handlestall twice before missing the spike on the third, and light drop bird would be pretty much be luck if I landed. But it would be awesome. Good dares.
How about: Swing up bird, bird earth, flip across valley, nightingale earth, spike or flip to spike for uniformity. Been working on a variation of this one.
How about: inward stilt, inward lunar, inward axe (I don't really know what that's called), lighthouse, axe, lunar, stilt, in.
@Emil Apostol Merged your thread with a previous one already running so everyone can see previous entries. I'm liking your idea about posting videos of the completed "dare" and am looking forward to seeing more vids here.
Bump! Tech dare for those who want to try: Underbird, Lunar, Flip to Lighthouse, Trade Bird, Flip in.
