Although I agree with all of this, we are looking at a $200 kendama. I do realize that rare kendamas have sold for more than that, but $200 is a lot of money to spend on a new kendama. It kinda puts this kendama in a new category on its own.

True, but like that new iPhone X, it’s not for everyone.

They are just too expensive for me I guess. I just can’t bring myself to spend $160 ish bucks on a dama rn. But if you can justify that, I’m sure they are pretty nice to play. If you calculate it, you are paying $137.73 for a ken and $17.89 for a tama.

With TerraCare, your Roddamas come with a whiff of Canadian air and a small jar of maple syrup, to ease your nerves in the event of chippage or breakage.
Be rest assured that you’d be able to call a toll-free number directly to Alex Smith’s home and be greeted with the signature Canadian Sorries Bombardment (CSB).
Should you feel that these measures are still not able to calm you down, the team at TerraCare will personally send you a tender loving, big bowl of poutine to completely absolve you of your worries.

TerraCare comes in 65 monthly payments of CAD 19.99, inclusive of tax.
Never leave the Terra Store without your TerraCare. Get your peace of mind.

I got one at mko and I hit a lunar, backflip to inward lunar. Never got a backflip of any kind before and rarely get inwards so yeah it's super honed!

Rod spends a few hours making each one, and skateply isn't a cheap material either. There are plenty of cheaper damas that play great though, Roddama's stuff is just something special.

Sounds likes an awesome dama to use to unlock tricks! I actually got my first lunar on a jumbo Sunrise kendama which is not very good for them.

Yeah to be honest I was really looking forward to these to drop a while back and I saw that the LLB sold for around $70 or something. So when I heard these were going to drop in a regular size I got excited to get. Then they dropped and I realized that I cannot spend that much on one of these. I know the price difference is due to it being hand turned and not spun by that factory. So I do understand why they are so pricy. I was just bummed I can’t put that much down on a kendama yet. Especially when my intentions are to shred it.

Rod dropped 4 more hand turned (not skateply, but other awesome wood combos) today. Gone in the half hour from when I saw them and decided to pull the trigger.

There are still a few skateply left.

Why not shred an AWESOME dama? I know money can be tight, but rather than a bunch on POPs (or whatever) you can test that skateply durability and jam jam jam on a quality long lasting hand crafted creation.
My LBB Skateply only looks used around the tama hole and by my hand grime on the sword. That stuff takes a serious beating and just keeps on going.

When that day comes when I feel like really treating myself I’ll pick one up. I really liked those last 4 he dropped. I would definitely cop one of those.
I almost bought an LLB but I didn’t know if I’d like the size so I waited.
