Would you rather? Kendama edition!

This is exactly would I am doing.

 

Only sweets for life. When you have great painted and natty options which are better than what KUSA, it's a no brainer. Much love still to KUSA though, I'm a bigger fan of their pros.

Would you rather be:
-Known for tech tricks, or
-Known for flow and style tricks?

 

for the sake of discussion what are the 5 most valuable/most rare? are we going from one company apiece or just like all mugens pretty much?

 

1000 dollars. Technically, if you did the former, you could resell the 5 for potentially more than 1000 dollars, but as a matter of principle, I don't resell gifts.

Would you rather:
-Live in a place with an established kendama community, or
-establish/ help build a kendama community where you are?

 

I would wanna help build the dama community cause I’ve definitely been doing that where I’m from. Nobody knew what it was and I got into it this summer and EVERYONE has been getting them

Would you rather have a bunch of factory damas (sweets prime or Krom Pops) or a couple of HG or GTs

 

Probably set a mugen on fire. You could take sick pictures

Would you rather home in lunar flip or double lighthouse flip?

 

hard one, but I'd have to say double light because I've been loving me some lighty flips lately.

Would you rather sesh with Ben Herold or Bonz?

 

Bonz Atron. I've seshed with Ben before so I'd love to meet Bonz in person.

If you worked for a kendama company, would you rather:

-Work on kendama design (designing ken shapes, tama paints, etc.), or
-Work on kendama marketing (going to events, making promotional material, selling product, etc.)

 

I'd ratgr work in marketing as I enjoy marketing strategies and social media and I am uncreative af

Play with a string thats just to short
or
Play with a too long string

 

Definitely a long string. A short string would make everything harder but then again if u lace bangers on the short one you’d straight slay on a normal length one

would u rather a Sweets prime or a Krom Pop

 

Pop! Lol cause I already have a prime but real talk those pops look sleek as hell + the shape is interesting since it reminds me of the Craft Slim.

Would you rather:
-Quit kendama for a stable job, or
-Have kendama as an unstable profession?

 

Currently have kendama as an unstable profession, but that is VERY subject to change, especially at my current age when I am actually trying to get good jobs and stuff...

WYR:
Only have food from the Americas (north, middle and south) eg. tacos, hamburgers, maple syrup
Only eat stereotypical Asian food (ya know) eg. sushi, fried rice, soy sauce

 

Only have food from the Americas. So much more variety compared to stereotypical asian food!

Would you rather have to:
-Travel by road from California to Minnesota for MKO, or
-Travel by plane from California to Japan for Catch and Flow?

Assume you shoulder all costs of travel.

 

Definitely travel by plane to Japan because it would take way too long to drive to MKO.

I would honestly have the 100 damas bcause i feel like 100 years is a long as life. Btw i have soo many damas i want right now!

Sweets. The value for money is better overall (this is not to say that KUSA and KROM are bad, though).

Would you rather have:
-Many people get into kendama, but be treated as a fad, or
-Have only 2 people get into kendama but be treated as a lifelong passion?

 

Definitely the seccond, as a passion, since that is how it is now in my area, and it is a lot better than a fad that is very controversial.
