Fun fact: @Yourdy is the star of a Devil Wears Prada music video! lol I've listened to metal/hardcore a long time. Mostly metalcore, proggy, mathy sorta stuff. Sometimes even heavier deathcore sorta stuff.. I used to play in a metalcore band too, like 10-11 years ago. Goood times!

@htimSxelA YEA! Yourd's cousin shot/ shoots insane videos. Shot a Devil Wears Prada video a few years back in PA and they needed a kid (Yourd) to perfectly execute the role of killing a bird and bringing it back to life with SHREDDING. @Yourdy am I forgetting anything? legend has it, that's why Yourd wears the bird call (totally lying)
LOL For real though, can we talk about how the new Fall of Troy album is dope? Plus there are two different versions of it, mixed/mastered differently (fairly different, at certain points). I think I like #2 better, but #1 has some good stuff too 'A single word' is a good one, starts at 11:10 ish

I'm into lots of bands. wouldn't consider them metal but very alternative, a band named movements has been my jam this year since their first album came out a couple months back. lowkey just listen to a lot of emo stuff like asking alexandria and issues. but i love all music. also killswitch is invredible.

I'm glad someone else like killswitch. I'm a big fan of people who are the highest echelon of their trade. So I like dream theater. And avenged sevenfold. Mostly for their drummer and lead guitar. Those dudes are insane.
I've seen Whitechapel! Thats some proper Deathcore. Speaking of deathcore! I recently found a pretty crazy band in an unlikely way. Jake Wiens posted a video to facebook, it was like a 90s home video of crazy (I assume) Southern US christians doing the whole 'possessed dance/speaking in tongues' thing in their church... but overlaid with some reeally heavy music, so it looked like footage from a mosh pit. lol. Anyways, the band was heavy af, look them up: Brand of Sacrifice. Their music is gnarly! Shoutout Wiens for the lowkey find (though he isn't a metalhead at all lol)
