Are the Craft kens standard size or Plus? Aren't the Slaydawg tamas a little bigger? I'd be interested in your thoughts on Slim VS 2.0 with those tamas.

They are the craft plus, which is about 5% bigger and the slaydawg is about 2% bigger. Once I have used both these damas for a week I will make a whole new thread about the benefits of each, and which one I like better.

I’ve been jamming this maple OG Homegrown x F3 aTack stripe and a purple striped zen with a ken I customized! Both play very well and are good for tracking! 1A654F43-6899-47FA-A7EA-8A9A34934BA3.jpeg

Does the musou tama sit well since it's slightly bigger than standard? For lunars and such?

Not even close to broken in yet but this Lyonken Pear tama x Bday Krom is already honed to all hell. I laced it up with a spinner bead and a krom yellow string and right off the bat I fell in love. Landed a lunar flip first try on it, with the string still super stiff. I wasnt going to pair until I weighed some of my kens and spare tamas and found that both were right at about 80.5 grams. It is a little on the heavy side for me but I immediately knew these two were going to retire together.

Musous are still practically the same size tama-wise, and cup-wise, the only difference is that the kens are taller, so they are still 100% compatible with all standard kendamas

I think that they are pretty compatible with slaydawgs though, but not much more than that.
