What is the most aesthetically-pleasing kendama trick out there? Not necessarily the most difficult, but something you would like to see if it was on a billboard in Times Square.

My money's on Turntable or Borders Balance.

I guess it got to be any string, balance and aerial tricks since these tricks are very eye catching to beginners and people who don't play kendamas

If someone's gonna see it on a billboard at Times Square, that's gotta be it.
Something about the tama leaving the ken, while the ken rotates, and you catch it, and then there's that moment of suspense as the tama slowly drops into the ken, with a highly satisfying clack.
With the right cinematography techniques, a whirlwind can turn what seems to be a mundane trick to us, to a show stopper in TS.

    well, it kinda depends...

for me, collectively like the staple tricks like juggle, insta, taps. doesn't have to exactly in one line in one clip. could be cuts or segments is kinda good

When I was performing on the street, string tricks worked the best. Swirl and butterfly were the best. But nothing can beat balancing the boarder balance :D these kiddos screaming "no way! How does he balance this!?" best feeling ever :D

I really like the way one turn stunt plane fast hand looks. Like you drop the tama on the ken and continue down to grab the ken. Those look really nice. Idk ab on a billboard though.

I guess I would go with bb' s as well. That's a good picture anyhow.

the flowiest string flow that ever flowed.

specifically anything with taps such as swirl taps, carousel taps, etc.

If you are going to go big in time square, the only trick has to be a tight rope.

Swap spikes! Or if introducing it to people. I do around USA, and then flip to bird. Jug house normally just to show the possibilities!

As long as you make it look cool, even the most simple tricks will impress a beginner. It's more style than trick for me.

If I had to choose though, I'd pick BB or infinite finger roll. Both would look sick when photographed and the ifr is just a cool trick to see anyway

It's a swirl. That never ends. Been trying to learn that, but it's hella tricky to get.
