so is not sure if this is already a thread because my phone doesn’t give me the search option. Anyways I think it would be really cool if there was a kendama league! I think it would be based off the 1v1 format or whatever it’s called(I know it’s bad I don’t know that). And It could be world wide with a open qualification event! And it could even be worldwide with each country or region sending players! Any other ideas.
Hmm... the term "League" implies teams for me. I personally think kendama isn't necessarily a 1v1 sport, so I don't think kendama needs a league. If you have a system in mind though, by all means share it!
The system could basically be a bracket format, but the final four go to a big tournament. And yes the teams do sound complicated, but they could kinda work like the four people could travel to different countries( yes that would be unreasonably expensive but this is just food for thought ),and do another bracket, the team with the person that comes out on top wins that “game”, then there would be a playoff. And yes Kendama doesn’t really need a league and it probably would not work. And that is probably how it would work.
