I’ve wanted to, but haven’t brought myself to do anything other than a single lighthouse lol. The paint is amazing though. It makes it much harder to resist playing it.
The left one is a 1980's (naaa i'm joking. It's 2015, IIRC) Grain Theory, Hickory Complete; first batch (with the Sourmash sauce) The right one is a (2015?) Croix Kendama (from Denmark), zebrano with Killer Clear, handmade with love by the great Christian Nemmøe.
@Churlthomp has one of these. I was so impressed with the hickory and mash sauce. Epic piece right there.
Yes, indeed! The first year i met Charlie at KWC, and showed me that monster, and how sticky the coat is, i knew i had to add one to my collection sometime!
Mashed them up myself, found the V11 on amazon somehow, and I just happened to order a homegrown a few hours beforehand. I’m absolutely in love with it.
Yeah I don't why, but I feel less guilty with it How did you find it, if you already had time to test? It was my first experience with both Mugen musou and Sweet Next Gen ken and I love both, the paint is awesome and the NG shape is nice and sharp. the only thing for me is the weight, my set up is so light (less than 125g) and my everyday jammer is around 170g so I always need an adaptation period while switching damas. And your mash-up is gorgeous, congrats!
I just got a prime sports stripe avalanche and a gram scale (shoutout @James Hoang). I hope the prime has decent lunar balance unlike my other primes. I'm getting a bit annoyed by the fact that my best lunar dama is an OG kaizen...
