So I got it today and I must say the wait was worth it. This is such a unique kendama, the shape is unlike anything I have played before, in a good way. The lunar balance is as advertised, lunar flips pretty much stick like a magnet and it slays birds right out the gate. The spike is like a shorter version of the Pop spike, which I am still getting use to but all in all a very worthwhile purchase. I am surprised at how balanced it is for kenflips, slingers and lunars, it is hard to find a ken that fits all three of those categories. The sword is a little on the thin side so it will take some slaying the get comfortable but then again that comes with the terrain, being such a different shape and all. Would most definitely recommend. Thanks again @Steezdiaz for coming through with the good customer service and it was weight matched dead on at 69, so that was awesome. Good looking out my brother, and thanks for throwing in those slay bands, that was a nice gesture.
Yea I agree. Unlike any dama i have. And I'm glad you agree with it being worth the wait. It's the only one i have been playing since i got it and i think i have landed around 10 new lunar tricks with it. Favorite being ufo to lunar bonz style. I'm def. A lunatac fan.
Your request.. has been approved. [mod mode, activate!] Alright, let's keep using the Search feature! Powerful tool, sadly underused.
And finally I got mine xD My number is #69, unfortunately as I still working I can't sesh it right the time I open it~ but really hyped on this one! Nice work!
Hey I was curious, for those of you who have a give-a-dama, how much does yours weigh? I was curious if my 70 gram ken was pretty light or is that about average because all of them have the slim sword + drilled base cups. I'd love to know your thoughts! Thanks! Also subsequent question what tama do you prefer using with your give-a-dama? Or do you just rock the one it came with (the panama mods have a really nice sticky clear coat).
Just got mine (#174) in the mail. So stoked on this thing. Even came with a sweet little note! I work at Squarespace and had it shipped to the office. This kinda thing is one of the reasons I love kendama so much.
