Let's resurrect this thread! Philken Kendama's dropping some new-new soon! New shape, and kens are CNC-ed here in the Philippines. They'll come in Natty and Sticky Paint options! #Primera
Anyone snag a new DWI? I picked up one of the new Jarod mods! I want to buy a V2 as well but I think I'm going to wait til he drops the maple natty
Recent drops for anyone who doesn't know yet: Terra Prefect (Hickory, skateply, ebony) New Prime Customs V13 Craft Shift (Birch and Hickory) Kromania Pops Active V3 (super stick / silk) DWI V2 Jarod Porter V2 GT-E1 Maple (Batch 3?) Many of these are still in stock, but quite a few are already gone.
Out of all those drops listed. I only got the gt-e1 maple. Always wanted a dwi. Craft is out of my price range. All the shapes are very similar with slight differences. I'm still a noob trying to destroy all damas.
@htimSxelA beside other possible wood options for the shift, will KUSA have new/update paint formulation???
I’m still hoping to see a Kaizen 3.0 soon with the shift shape in a ‘Dama I don’t feel guilty buying.
Don't sleep on the DWI v2s! got one of the white chihiro mods that dropped, and easily its my fav shape from dwi
I'm curious what you mean by this? Generally, a tribute is defined by the sarado-locking rivet. If you get rid of that... and make it a shift shape... how is it a tribute anymore?
Well, part of evolution is like getting rid some & replace/improve it, right? i see some post of shift having 2 stringholes on the same side of the sarado (that might be the evolution from the rivet, although that will make the sarado prone to break exactly in halves). Mad love to KUSA but, @htimSxelA the rivets got to go
I think the human race should go back to using horse drawn carriages instead of modern automobiles, but instead of using a normal horse we could use an internal combustion engine horse and let Seabiscuit drink petrol instead of water.
2 stringholes in the same side would be a serious defect, I'd be surprised if someone was sold one like that! If so, they should definitely hit up KUSA, I'm pretty confident they'd trade it out for a proper one no problem. I think you misunderstood me though: you said bring back the Tribute, but in shift shape, and no rivet. I agree no rivet is good! But in that case, it isn't really a 'tribute' anymore. If you mean some overseas factory made versions of the Shift, then I think I understand. Tributes aren't the only thing KUSA has made overseas though, Kaizens and Kaizen 2.0s, as well as some other shapes (like the padauk protos) have come from there (really, everything that isn't Craft).
