Ugghhh. I really want one of the Kayaki Ozora Reshapes, but it looks like the run with 430 is insanely limited so it may be too hard to get my hands apon one. Have any of you heard more about other kayaki ozoras in this new shape bound to release? Overall, I am pretty hyped about an old school company revamping towards modern play.

I’ve been playing it and it’s crazy on how good it is. I’ve been playing my keyaki setup and it plays like the shift but they make the sarado like 3mm longer (similar to what Ben did with his pro mod) so it’s easier to sling and have more weight for lunars. The cups are of course boosted so doing light house and lunar is great. The ring stall sits higher so doing underbird will give the tama a true contact spot (normally undergirds are difficult cause it’s resting on a rounded surface of the sword/ken).

If the factory paint on these ozora is like the KWC tama we got it’s crazy good too. It’s like the sticky AF paint but built to last.

When i met my fellow teammates during KWC, all of them were on Reshape kens, and i was tempted to try the one i received with my KWC swag bag when i got home.
Recently, my DS REZ (daily jammer) suffered a crack on the sarado, in which i immediately retired, and put this setup in its place :

This is the Spingear x Sweets collab, with Cush Clear, with the Reshape.
Ozora took a calculated risk with the Reshape, and man are they good at math.
I'm just about done applying the third layer of superglue yesterday, so i'll be jamming this to pieces, because it plays so well!

It looks like there actually are two different paint finishes, sticky and matte. Does anyone know which finish KUSA carries? I'm looking to buy a matte gold.

I got to play one at the kendamaseattle jam. It is so good. I got triple gun slinger first t which was my second ever. It slaps lunate well. I didn’t think that the shape of the slip stop and base cup would feel good in the hand, but I really liked it. I bought one. But, Nick and Zack said that some are good and bad. It’s not all the consistent.

The other is "in process" and different from the matte found on the white red fade, year of the monkey, street black etc. (see first post)

Dude I'm so jealous that you can just hang out with them and talk with them. They're probably in my top 5 favorite players.

It’s so much fun. They are both so good. They do tricks so nonchalantly. Nick was going for quad lunar tré and he just does this crazy juggle line while he was taking a break.

I’m surprised they would say that considering the reshape is coming from the same people making the JKA Ozora. Their quality and craftsmanship is top notch. I really can’t say that about any other mass produced Kendama.
On the other hand they could be right since these Kendamas don’t need to be approved by the JKA so QC isn’t as strict.
Both of mine came out great so I don’t see the risk of buying one
