Strings that I'm currently using are CWCS, Kendama USA, Ken Lab and the string that comes with the KROM Slaydawg.

Either KUSA or Ozora, but really I'm not picky.

Although I'm not much of a fan of silk strings. Like @Nick Lectura said, it gets caught on little splinters easily. String jank central!

I usually run silk but these KUSA strings that come in that 10 pack are really great. They last forever and they don't have many downsides to them.

Think I'm going to have to try those CWCS strings though...just to get a comparison.
@htimSxelA, that last part was an edit. Are you proud of me? ☺

@SouthpawTRK , are those strings the speed nylon?

Most nylons work for me, especially the KUSA string. But, I really loved the KenCo zen string. It wasn't a silk string, but it also wasn't a nylon either. It was smooth to touch but still performed just as well as a nylon.

Definitely, my string of choice is CWCS speed string! aside from the feel of it not being as abrasive as other strings i've tried, i do like the color range for my damas. lolol

The CWCS string that I've been using are the Speed Strings. It's really different than most other strings on the market; there is an inner core and then the outer cover of the string. Here's a link with a better explanation:

I've been experimenting with this string lately and really digging it: http://a.co/b9SxIfc

It's kinda weird at first, takes some time to break in because it's a little stiff. Rub it against your pants like in this tips&tricks video from Wiens for awhile and it gets really smooth. It's super soft and great feel on the hands for string tricks.

I'm a fan of both silk and regular. My favorite silk is the Fujin silk (I've never played CWCS speed string) and my favorite normal string is the kusa string. Like what @lategreat808 said: KUSA strings that come in that 10 pack are really great. They last forever and they don't have many downsides to them.

I like Kendama USA strings and Ozora strings. I don't like the feeling of silk when it wears out, and I don't like the thickness.

Love Ozora stings and KUSA strings, I feel like silk can break easily.

Pair it up with one of the micro bearings, plays well together :)

I've only tried ozora, KUSA, kenco and whatever TK16s come with. I don't know why but the kenco string tangled wayyyyyyyy too much, it could've been the bead it and with but it felt terrible. Ozora feels good but for me it wasn't durable so in the end I stuck with KUSA. Not exactly string but I really want to try a spinner/bearing sometime
