Interesting thought: what time of day do you usually sesh? First thing in the morning? Late at night? Whenever the urge comes up? I find myself seshing usually either early in the morning or late at night. Since most of the day is spent with other life matters (chores, studies), kendama is a way for me to start the day or end the day. P.S. For purposes of this thread, a "sesh" is defined as a time when you dedicate your time to kendama. Some examples of this (among others) are when you are on the film grind, or when you spend a set amount of time in a day playing as a form of meditation. P.P.S. I'm actually playing at 11:45PM, Philippine Time right now. I find myself playing really late at night most days, which is why I decided to make this thread.
When I'm not influenced by needing to record a trick for one reason or another I definitely am more of a nighttime player. If it didn't disturb neighbors and family in the house it would be perfect but thems the breaks. It tracks because I find myself more active at night than the day.
Ditto on being a nighttime player. Aside from other life matters needing my time, I find it too hot to sesh in the daytime.
If it's during the weekend I'll usually get a sesh in during the day. Otherwise with working all day during the week I'll try and get a sesh in at night. So really depends on the day. Haven't done any video yet but just got a new tripod so may have to start (and do some juggling stuff)
I like to play in the day time, specifically because of the daylight. I can see the best when I play outside during the day, and find that I perform the best then as well. I play most often between 11am and 3pm, as long as I have a free schedule.
