Total rookie move. Was out at a trade show, got a few people into trying my kendama - but then didn't keep it by my side when it got into another hotel room. Now theoretically it is on its way to Australia. From seasoned vets - what's the key? Never let it out of your site? Always wear around neck? Use a holster? Don't be so irresponsible? I probably will he eventually able to track it down, just feel dumb because I should have been more careful to bring it with me when I left the room we were partying in.

Yeah I definitely was doing teaching for a first big cup when it was forgotten so there's definitely some good karma there. I gotta track one down but I'll get you set up with that Flabongo no issues. Fuckin' SIA...
I brought a bunch of damas to a 4th of July kids activity thing last year. In the end I lost 2 (people walked off with them.) I was bummed, but I guess it happens and like @Cheech_Sander said, hopefully a couple of folks are stoked and hooked on dama now.
Once I forgot a dama at a skatepark. First I was sad but it wasn't one of my favorite jammers and i think a skatepark is a pretty good place to loose your kendama.
