I want to know what you guys think the best paint. The requirements are grippy enough to catch easily but with enough slip to make adjustments. Also I don't want it to wear away after a couple weeks I want it to last at least a month or two.last when your doing cup flow I want it to clack very loud. If there is a paint like this please tell me I would love to know.
Lol clear is pretty durable, it breaks in good. I also like the sweets prime paint. Pretty similar to lol clear
Weirdly enough, my first recommendation for you would be a fresh Sweets Pro Clear over anything else. Yes, it's not grippy or tacky at all, but it is the best paint in terms of how it breaks in, and it eventually wears down to the absolute perfect grip, slip ratio. (The old formula Co zens are the same way if you can manage to snag one.) Sourmash is amazing but it's so sticky, in my experience it'll sometimes cause lighthouses to tilt right off. As for the sticky clears that are out now, the new LOL and Prime Clear are top choices, as everyone has been saying. You'll definitely want a hardcoat clear of some kind for that "clack factor"
I always mention Ozora Premium and Girr paint. Perfect slip and grip, and girr especially breaks in really nice.
I love kusa's silk paint, although ive been jammin on some sweets cushion clear but its too grippy. So silk gets this one.
As far as paint goes, I think the new formula stripe zen paint is the best for me. I'm better with lighthouses than lunars at the moment, and the paint is grippy enough to give me a little help on lunars but still slippery enough for me to do my thing with houses. I've had a bamboo shenzu x stripe set up since the Co started their liquidating sales and its held up pretty good. There's some chipping around the hole but that's because I've missed a couple hard spikes. Clacks are also nice and loud cause it's bamboo. I usually jam raw ash tamas though, and lunars and lighthouses are both good for me on those tamas. I prefer them over paint most of the time because it's the perfect combo of slip and grip. Plus stalls are money on them
One of my favorites of all time is the Sweets Beta! They were amazing! Weren't really slippery and not too tacky! The only things about them is they weren't very durable. I still have my Beta but don't jam it. I love it sooooooo much! Maple wood + Sweets Beta Paint = Heaven! #BRINGTHEMBACK #SWAGDADDYNATION
For best stick: dwi sticky af or cereal sticky. For best matte slip/stick: kusa silk For best gloss slip/stick: the co painted
I am looking for new kendama. It should be sticky but not to much, pretty durable and not too gripy. I would like to have durable kendama so I am thinkig about maple. Bigger cups would be also great for lunars. I am thinking about: sweets pro mod, slaydawg maple, kaizen 2.0. When you are playing slaydawg a lot is not that really bad to play standard size kendama after slaydawg?
Honestly... think about the new Sweets Prime. I have heard nothing but that they are amazing! I've played a few, and they are AMAZING!
