What are some of the craziest tricks you've laced by accident? Did you play it cool? Or own up to it?
For me, it might not be that difficult for others, but I managed to lace a dub lighty flip and a quad j-stick on accident. I was actually aiming for a 1.5 lighty flip, and I was just messing around with the amount of rotations I could do for j-sticks.
About 7 months ago when me and by buddy Shea had some kendamas but needed more( you always need more damas), I got invited to his birthday and I bought him a mystery dama from sweets. It came and I checked it out but didn't play it. When I gave it to him he said it was super good for lghty because if the stickiness and the offset string hole, so I was like let me try. I was just jamming with it when I landed my first lunar! I yelled over to him to get his attention. I was shocked then I just flipped it and fluked out on my first lunar flip and my first lunar in a span of 30 seconds! To this day I am still not consistent with them!
Every now and then I catch a spike to spike slinger with half the earth turn going the right way and the other half going inward cause of an accidental yank. The string just wraps around the tama tightly and ends up pulling it back.
Never had anything too crazy on accident that I can think of, besides just going for a however-many-flips j-stick and getting it. Once, when I had just started I randomly landed a stunt-plane flip which got me through a ken game, and I was really stoked about it since my level was so below a trick like that.
When I was trying to learn Whirlwind I accidentally pulled down really fast and got a Whirlwind Yank Spike
I've had this happen twice now so I'm sure it's fairly common, but the coolest accidental trick I've ever landed is when I'm going for a jumping stick and the string gets caught and yanks the ken down to lighthouse.
One time during Kgtues I was trying to do a dub whirlwind then I landed a quad whirlwind. I was going ape sh-t because of that.
was going really hard for trip tap lighthouse at a party and accidently got a trip tap small cup inward lunar, didnt spike it, didnt play it cool
I got my first ring stall while going for handlestall the other day...really is the 'craziest' that i've gotten so far
Never thought I'd be able to add to this thread, you guys are crazy good Went for downspike, landed and held bird, instead, accidentally didn't realize it until a few seconds later when the tama was not on the spike
On the opposite end of that, today while practicing neospacewalks I accidentally caught bird instead of spike! It felt totally awesome!!!
