im in the market for a new kendama planning to either buy 1 or 2 usually do that every month or every other month. Any suggestions?
There's honestly a lot of good stuff out there nowadays. New kaizen line from KUSA, Primes from Sweets, Slates from PNW, Sticky AF from DWI, Pioneers from Sol, Trackers from Terra, any of the rubber painted kens from Krom. Those are some of the lower priced options but there's always the more expensive options like GTs, Kotodamas, Next Gens, Crafts, Slaydawgs, etc.
Other honed damas are the Algae or Honey from Atlantic Kendamas. Those are pretty affordable, solid damas that last a while. Also the paint is super sticky! Sol is restocking on Vibes soon which are super honed too. You could also check out some cheaper damas like TK-16s and Ozoras. KUSA carries Sunrise damas too which are pretty cheap too but shred like crazy.
Always buy something different from what you have tried including a new wood, a new pair type and a new shape ect.
Slate. It's pretty much a craft-like quality(great shape, manufacturing, specs) hiding inside of a $20 body. Such a steal
