@7Cabbages @Congarranza Haha, well clearly I love me some 8-bit/chiptune stuff, but I wanted to open it up to various suggestions of songs and genres. As a community edit, I don't want to steer the ship 100% ya know? (Plus it is not like I ALWAYS do chiptune stuff anyway.)
@Ben Lowe I pride myself in my music selection, and I do all my own music supervision for all my movies, even the big ones. My taste is a little on the poppy side, but I have a ton of ideas. Here are three: Bearson - One Step at a Time Norwegian trop-house producer Bearson stepped on the scene bigly two years ago with "Pink Medicine". As I said, I like the poppy stuff, and this one is a happy-go-lucky pop banger that has lyrics that are relevant to kendama progression. Faul + Wad - Happy Endings This song is pretty old, but it's purely instrumental, so it's a great choice if people are saying their names, or if you want to have some dialogue in the edit. I'm not sure if people are talking to the camera, but to me that gives it flair. Marian Hill - Down I saw Marian Hill live in LA about three years ago in a tiny venue in LA. It was their first show outside of Philly and I can't remember how I even heard them, but they had a cool sound. This song I think is in a new iPhone commercial, so it might be a little played out... but it's literally perfect for DOWNspike. I vote marian hill.
man got alot of hiphop tracks in mind i just can't pick any specific. maybe a-boogie & kodak black's drowning but im saving it for one local edit here in the PH. maybe that one song from a local minnesota artist that hooks a kendama in the verse. i don't quite remember the name of the song or the artist. btw Ben Lowe is the clips already send? i just convo you yesterday

Hey @Ben Lowe is it cool if i send a small clip of my first ever quad j-stick i just hit? I know its one trick and its a short clip. Just figured id ask anyway
I watched your Atlantic video today, and changed a diaper while I listened to YouTube autoplaying your other vids. So I heard was 8bit greatness. I came to realize you should still do the 8bit on your community edit. I think the soundtrack is the editor's signature, in a sense. The next edits done by other members can showcase their flair through the soundtrack.
Just submitted a soft one Anyone who hasn't sent in a clip yet should definitely do so! You still have another day to film something, so get outside and land a trick!
