Yea it takes me 5 hrs to get to nyc. I wish there was more of a scene in upstate New York. The scene in Central New York is growing but it is really small.
I'm at Provo, and don't have a car otherwise I would hit up Salt Lake City. So I'm pretty boxed in to either taking public transport to salt lake for like a 2 hour trip each way or just waiting till I get back home.
I live in Jackson hole Wyoming and in the past 2 years there wasn't really a Dama scen. but know there is store that is carrying Kusa and know a lot more people know about kendama and I see a lot of people in town with a kendama but still not to many. If you want you can go follow @damasquadjhoffical which is group of young slayers who live in Jackson hole. Thanks
I am from St. George Utah. there are about 10 players down here, 3 people play at my school including myself.
Isnt there the Saint George dama instagram page? You should message them I bet they would be super down to meet you. Stgk_official
Look up the thing I put at the bottom of my other message on Instagram and message them, maybe you will meet some new people!
Surprise AZ. People question me about my kendama, but have ZERO interest in it after the initial "Oh I've seen one of those before" and the "you waste a lot of time on that" Everyone here is so negative about it! I play three sports, kendama is just something I don't HAVE to be good at, and can get really good at by just having fun AZ sucks for Dama
Check out kendama AZ on facebook. There's some people quite close to surprise including my friends and I.
Northern Wisconsin, the only place I have seen a Kendama, is up in Duluth, MN. (I used to live in Superior) Anywhere else in Wisco or the midwest, I've never seen one, and neither has 98% of the people here. No Scene. No dama friends. Just me. Duluth had, or still has a group of guys that put out an edit(s)
Here in the Netherlands almost nowbody has even heard from it, let alone play it. I'm in a circus/juggling group and I bring it once in a while, but most people put it down after a litte while. I tried to convice my brother to give it a try, but he prefers yo-yo stuff. So it's just me practicing and messing arround. Not that that's bad, but it would be fun to have some people to jam with!
The legendary Alex Ruisch resides in Amersfoot. Go check him out! He's on Instagram (@Supernog73) Also, i believe there's a DutchKendama team, if i may recall correctly.
