I'm hyped on this project. I love giving damas away and the Giveadama will finally give me a reason to do it more often. Each batch of Giveadamas will feature the flag colors of the country that we'll take the damas to to give away I hope you guys will join me in helping spread dama love across the world!
So how are the candidates for the given dramas chosen? Is there a specific charity that this will run through?
Very cool, how are you distributing them to the different countries? The kendamas you're sending to Uganda are the same as the ones that will be up for purchase?
Thanks guys! And good questions everyone. @htimSxelA - As we're getting started I'm just relying on my personal connections for distribution. I have good friends that go to Uganda every year and have their own thing really established over there, so that was the obvious first choice. My hopes are to go with them the next time they go and take the Giveadamas. I also have some connections in other countries which could be runners up for next batches as well. The damas I'm giving away are the same as the ones that are up for sale...because I want my Uganda homies to #SlayLunars haha Basically, I made a batch of 200, so I hope to sell 100 and give away the other 100. @Brandon Jensen not partnering with any specific charities at the moment, but maybe someday we will, or...even better yet, we'll just create our own non-profit or organization. How the damas will be given away is still in the works, my hopes is the first few countries I will personally be there to ensure it'a done in a meaningful way, with someone there to instruct and inspire. A lot of the villages we'll visit are small and it would be easy to give every kid their own without excluding anyone too so that's a plus

I would love to see a charity organization pop up from this. Partner with humble bundle. Humble dama bundle. Awwwww yeeeeeea.
@Congarranza @quacktaped thats a cool idea. As of now not doing any trades, but how sweet would that be in the future? Like trade in a couple used damas for a new one, and we'd donate the used ones I'll work on it **edit** 5/5/17 As of now we are taking donated damas to give away with this project. I think it would be awesome to show the people that bought he giveadama how they are giving back. Something as simple as a text saying that someone got it, or even an email. I know in some countries, when your donated blood gets used, they send you a little text, so it's less of a give and forget, it's a give, and now you know that what you gave actually affected someone somewhere.
