Hi, my name is Maarten van Heel. I live in Den Bosch, the Netherlands. I started playing dama on september the 21st this year so I am still a bit new. My first skill toys were diabolo's and yoyo's. I still pick them up from time to time but i prefer dama now My IG: https://www.instagram.com/thebearskate/ Other Dama IG accounts to follow: https://www.instagram.com/meneertuk/ AND https://www.instagram.com/joris_damaguru/
Yo, My name is Cody and I'm from Wisconsin! I started playing kendama about 2 years ago. Moved in with a buddy of mine and he had one laying around and we jammed it for a while. Thing was though, I just kept playing. He would leave it out and I'd just keep playing it. It was a sweets stained/cherry maybe. We're not sure because it was a gift. After a while I went out and bought one, and then another, and another. My arsenal kept growing. Now it's to the point where I have damas all over my apartment. They all get their love. But I took a break for some months due to moving and life and what have you, I just dug out my damas a few days ago, and it's like old times. I still can't put it down. What I'm most stoked for is going back to the Sweets shop! I went there a long while back with my girlfriend, we decided to go out of town for a weekend, and Parker Johnson was behind the counter and was just slaying. If you remember selling some dude a Maple with Walnut Stripe HG Parker with his girlfriend like 9 months ago, neato! I'm about an hour from the cities and there's not really a scene for kendama around here, and I haven't been successful in bringing any friends into kendama. I'm still stoked to make it happen eventually! I don't have any instagram or whatever yet because I don't know. I'll just update my sig with it eventually!
What's up guys! I'm Ian! 19 years old, married (Yeah, yeah, I know I'm super young for that and I don't care lol) and I live half an hour or so outside Seattle, WA. I've been playing kendama pretty casually/on-and-off for about twoish years now. A friend of mine and I made a deal: I'd try kendama, and he'd try yoyo. Ultimately, kendama ended up sticking more. Lol I definitely don't ever see myself being a pro or anything like that, but I love the community around skill toys - kendama especially - because it really is like a giant family. Everyone's so encouraging and welcoming and it honestly makes it so incredibly rewarding. I can't wait to get to know everyone better! You can find me on Insta @iang_mvp! Also, I might as well link my friend that got me into kendama in the first place - @jackcumbie
Hello, my name's Stephen Sargent, and I play in Kochi, Japan (originally from 'murica) Been playing a little over a year. I'm also into knitting. I'm mostly stoked on how Kendama lets you build your skills. The same movements that turn your airplanes properly will help with your swing spikes, and the same movements that keep your ball straight in a pull up spike will help you later on with birds or lighthouse. Also the community is dope here. Whether it's with freestyle players or JKA players, I've never felt unwelcome. Hi all! I'm Stuart Barron from the UK Ive been playing kendama for nearly 2 years now along with my 7 year old son (who stops and starts playing every week or four ). I first encountered kendama about 10 years ago and picked up a touristy, colourfull and nearly unplayable one in Asakusa, whilst in Japan meeting the future wifes parents. Eight years later, I picked up a proper kendama (red TK16) in Tokyo and havent looked back since! Instagram: @bundybarron @Britishkendama
What's up dama fam! Molly Craig here, I'm from the tiny town of Towanda,PA. Been jamming dama since late 2012 early 2013 when Bryan Hansen showed me the way of kendama. Got my first Kenco Zen and havent looked back since. What I love most about kendama is how you are constantly improving your dama game and yourself at the same time! So stoked to be a part of this! Slay on^_^ Insta-@mollidama Snapchat-MollymaeAMFD
Yooo!! I'm DaunyƩ Synigal and have been playing kendama since the spring of 2012 so almost 5 years now. It's been a crazy journey playing kendama in middle school and now trying to build a community in college. I've seen dama come and go in schools because it is a fad. I want to change people's view of kendama. The key is education. Many parents get their kids kendamas and feel that there are only 4 tricks to do and that it is a waste of money. Our job is to show everyone that kendama is much more than it looks like and that their is a community devoted to pushing the game. I love downspikes so this page is gold for the name. I also love creating new tricks and doing things that aren't "mainstream" in our community. The goals to live in Japan one day and amaze people with my chocolate kendama skills! IG: @Daun_yon
Hello everyone! My name is William Gangozo, and I'm from Las Vegas, NV. I've been playing kendama since July 2014 when a friend from school let me try his out, and I got hooked - loved every moment of the past two years playing. My junior year of high school I helped found a Kendama Club, and now as a college student it's a struggle to find others who play. The thing about kendama that I'm the most stoked about is the way that it instantly connects different people. Fun fact: I won the #DesignADama contest held by Sweets in 2015! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Instagram: @gangozone You should check out: @marutenn @ncg.ken Pleasure to meet you all!
Hey guys I'm Chris Fearon i started playing kendama in 2014? I'm from Ohio but living in Pittsburgh, PA for college as an Aircraft Mechanic. My favorite part about kendama is the amount of relation it gives me. Its a nice escape from the daily thoughts and stresses. Whenever you land that new trick you have been chasing for so long there is nothing that can compare to that feeling! Give me a follow on IG: cfearon199

Hello DS folks, My name's Kyle and I'm from Darien, Illinois. My first Dama was a stained Sweets Focus. I first picked up a Kendama back in 2013, but I never got too serious with it until a year later. I've been playing on and off for the past 3 years mainly because I also picked up yoyoing. Pun Intended. Anyways, I play Kendama because it makes me happy! My IG - @kylesycip Follow - @internetfamous + @williamstrobeck
Hello everyone, I'm Hans from Belgium. I've been a juggler since 2004 and started playing kendama in 2008, after witnessing the first European Kendama Open at the European Juggling Convention in Karlsruhe, Germany. I've played on and off since then, so my level is still pretty average. We've had a flicker of a community back in 2012 when I started Kendama Belgium, but it has died down a bit. I've been trying to represent kendama in our country ever since, by competing in the EKO, a couple of Spikedama's in The Netherlands and the British Kendama Open. Not having a community of my own resulted in me following kendama online ever since the beginnings of the community. It has been great to see it develop all over the world, and I really like this new website/forum which can only help in spreading the kendama love. My best experience with kendama was when I visited Taipei last year and got to play with kendama TPC. Some of them didn't speak English, however we did manage to exchange tricks and play together. Kendama really is universal and a great tool to connect with people all over the world. Nice to meet you guys! instagram: @kendamabelgium (or Kendama Belgium on facebook) Follow: @maico.ps (I met him in London last year and he has progressed immensely over the last year) @dimensions2000 (our reigning European Champion and one of the most consistent players I know)

Little late to this but what's up My name is Connor Sullivan and I've been playing kendama for a little over 2 years, and my favourite company is Bonzai dama! Hit em up with a follow @bonzai_dama if you haven't already. But the main reason I play kendama is for just the fun it brings to me and others. I love tech tricks and old school tricks too. Hit me up on the insta @rint.connor too! Great to meet y'all!
Hey everyone. My name's Jose and I currently live in Calgary, Alberta in Canada. I was introduced to kendama around last year but never got into it until 5 months ago when I was working at camp. It started with one of my co-workers who's been playing for quite some time which inspired me and I guess my others co-workers as well and kendama became a huge thing at camp for the whole summer. I'm stoked for simply the joy kendama brings in peoples eyes! I don't have any kendama posts on IG but you can still follow me if you'd like: @jose_pablo16 And follow these guys if you haven't: @cutthenoise because he inspires me as a fellow beginner and I am nowhere near his crazy progression @dirty.dam because well, What an Honor to Be Mediocre.
