Melbourne, Australia here. Just joined the site today. I started playing in December 2016. My best friend who lives an hour away is the only other player I have to practice with semi-regularly. Not really landing many combos yet anyway so I mainly just practice, practice, practice solo daily so I can get consistent before hopefully moving on to some impressive combos. Wouldn't surprise me if there are other players around, but definitely no visible scene.
@TreeFallingInTheWoods Welcome to the boards. There are a few people here either in Australia (@cbwalsh24 ) or from Australia (@MathiasK ) but I haven't seen anyone from Melbourne that I recall.
I've actually relocated to Bali, Indonesia. And @azleonhart knows what's up, @Churlthomp is definitely holding it down in Melbourne!
Dear lord, Bali is really hot and humid at this time of year. I remembered how much i stunk from the sweat during my last trip to Bali a year back.
I'm from Boise, Idaho. We have a pretty small scene with players from the surrounding area like Kuna and Meridian, ID.
i live in Louisiana and i only have about 3 friends that play kendama with me but im trying to get the scene up here tho.
Peterborough and Toronto, Ontario. The only people I've seen playing kendama are friends I've gifted.
i know of a guy from singapore but he recently moved to new zealand and he couldn't find any to play with him too. u can check him out at @joseph_ken on ig. Hope this helps u!
After I get done with this job in PA I will have to hit these guys up to get down. There videos look so fun, they definitely bring a unique vibe.
A few friends and I are beginning a group. We've only been playing a couple months. We are from North Eastern Ohio. What city are you in?
I live in Poland, Wroclaw and there are three people that play because i showed it to them, and one extra guy, who is quite good, but he doesn't have time for kendama...
EJC is in Lublin this year! It you can, you should try to check out that festival, even just for a day or two. It is EPIC. I was there the last time EJC was in Lublin (2012), I had a great time. (not a ton of kendama, but you should find a few players. There will be thousands of jugglers otherwise, its crazy)
