With KWC looming on the horizon here's a question for everyone. KWC allows competitors to register 3 of their kendama setups to compete with as long as it fits in the KWC measuring box. If it were you guys going to compete this year, what 3 damas (that you currently own) would you take to compete with you? Since we cant really measure damas on here, let's say the biggest you can go is Craft Plus/Sol Flow/Slaydawg/BH&KA pro mods. So Vikings, LBBs, and Tallboys are out.
1. Ken-Og maple homegrown tama- maple walnut stripe 2.ken-new gen spectra homegrown tama- white/black halfsplit kaizen 3.coopmod Ohhmangotdam
1. GT-1 2. Rez x Sourmash (They fit, but is resin allowed?) 3. Prime Custom Space Jam. It's cushion clear. Cups so big it's practically cheating. Then I would kick myself for not taking a HG and Ozora.
For me. 1. RWB Classic hickory ken x Sol Static Shock Vibe tama 2. KUSA maple Craft 2.0 ken x CCS pro mod tama 3. REZ/RWB ash ken x Kaya Pokeball custom tama They all have a great slick-to-stick ratio and are three of my best performing damas. And similar to @cpthangover I would probably kick myself for not using a GT and/or Ozora.
1.) Rez ken with cushion clear maple/purpleheart stripe of Rez is allowed 2.) norx mod 3.) hg full maple natty
The GT-BH supposedly doesn't even fit in the box, it's like the tiniest bit too wide. Maybe if you shove it in there it'll fit aha. Regardless, I would bring: 1. GT-BH 2. Rojo GT-1 with GT birch 3. maple GT-1 with raw ash
PNW S1 Kotodama Yancy Customs x DWI merlot sticky AF RWB Classic Hickory x HG natty maple/walnut stripe
1. Craft Plus Slim Maple x Maple Slaydog Tama 2. GT-BH 3. Maple HG x Maple Cushion Clear with Walnut Stripe
1) Ruisch 2014 tama x Birch KUSA classic sword with Sweets beech cups(Don't forget the green KUSA string!) 2) KUSA B/Y half-split x Zen ken 3) Norx 2017 tama x Sweets OG maple HG sarado on a Roots maple sword or Sweets Architect tama x Zen ken(lunar balanced!)
(L-R): 1. Krom Slaydawg, Thorkild May Pro Model 2. Su-lab Ash, a.k.a. Sudawg 3. Krom Slaydawg, Nihon Ash
