GUNNZO has them in stock on their site for $25 USD + $5 shipping; this would be slightly cheaper than ordering directly from KROM's online store (€17 + €10 shipping). You can also buy it off of GUNNZO's Amazon storefront for $35.
yeah the price is not what is bothering me just I don't wanna wait if it gets stuck in customs, thanks for the information though
I dont like the short spike but I'm debating whether or not glueing my pop spike because I feel like borders could be magical on these. Pops really do live up to the hype though as far as being the perfect balance between lunars and slingers. Also im a big fan of this string they use, it has some sort of bungee cord effect making yanks look extra saucy.
These Pops are on point, they sling and stilt for days. I was not a fan of the spike at first but now it is growing on me.
Just picked a pop up at Gunnzo LA. Fantastic kendama. I hate to say it as I am a bit of a sweets fanboy, but I prefer the pop to the prime (which it is obviously designed to compete with). That said I am really happy to have both.
I like them both for sure, but this Pop is really slaying right out of the box better than a Prime. Also the prime paint doesnt hold up too well, mine is destroyed.
haha I would say I also a sweets fanboy at the moment but a couple friends have some Kendama USA pro models so I have messed around on those and another has a pop and it is honestly really nice, I would like to get one, I will say his paint was chipping after about a week, I have been using a prime tropical grain split for about a month and have no paint wear at all really
I have a prime custom V...3? The space jam paint. The paint is holding up really well but all in all the pop feels a bit better. I can get used to heavy or light weight but my biggest gripe with the prime is the weight difference. 70g ken and 85g tama, I'm not sure if that is typical. I haven't weighed the pop yet. but it feels much more balanced (and a lot lighter overall). Edit: Ignore this I am wrong. I am not sure why I feel like the pop has smaller cups, by they are a bit larger than the primes. The other bit is the cups on the prime. Personally I don't love the massive cups. The cups on the pop are big for sure, but not quite as huge as the prime
I personally love the prime shape. The cups are perfect for stalls, slingers, and lunars. My favorite cup song to date.
Huh, you're right. The POP's cups are definitely deeper but they looked and felt smaller in diameter. I just measured them out Cup Diameter in cm Pop BigCup: 4.2 Prime Bigcup: 4.1 Pop SmallCup: 3.9 Prime SmallCup: 3.7 Pop Basecup: 3.6 Prime Basecup: 3.4 Weights of my two Pop Ken: 68.5g Tama: 74g Cup weight: 36g Prime Ken: 69.5g Tama: 85g Cup weight:34g
Now this is something i missed after checking out some posts from Tokyo Kendama Day. The first two images show Iji hold a regular looking jumbo : But in this one, i saw what i think could reconnect the link between this to a new line of Jumbos :
@azleonhart is that a POP jumbo then do you think? I’m pretty sure after the recent BKO the Kendama London boys have a jumbo Slaydawg with the LOL paint. I didn’t go so haven’t seen it in person, but pretty sure one of their IG feeds show it.
