So I plan on picking up the GT-BH mod today when they drop but I honestly would much rather have the GT-KA tama. Is there anybody out there who would want to trade them once I get them? Or can anybody let me know why that would be a bad idea? Let me know!
I've given up on getting a new GT... they drop stuff like they are supreme, I would have to set up a bot in order to get one.
Ditto that. I also give up. On the bright side there are a ton of other great companies out there right now.
You need to have your auto-fill forms setup and your payment method ready in PayPal so you can blast through that check-out process!!! Kinda sucks to miss out, but the way I see it is that is this: There's always going to be more drops, and I'm always going to want one; so if I miss a sale, it just means I get to save an extra $100 that month.
After my debacle, I just went to the Terra site and copped an Eric Marin pro mod and a hand turned skateply Rod! I think it probably worked out best for me.
For sure. I always miss stuff from both of them. Missed the GTKA countless times and I just missed the Akira x supreme long sleeve tee. Trying to buy items like this is more stressful than being in a bidding match on eBay.
From Grain Theory's trends in dama sales with the Nic Stodd Pro mod, I feel that they will do the same thing again. They start with really limited batch hardwoods, then over hype spectrums over, and over, and over. Then they start to make larger batches until each batch takes a couple days to sell out. After a couple rounds of going through the colorways, they do some throwbacks, and then release a new pro mod. Then repeat all over again.
I'd expect all of the drops to die down for the next week or so. until everyone gets enough cash for black friday stuff. at which point every company should have good things to grab. at least thats my hope. GT's are hard to find but they are no Craft-slims... Haven't seen those stay up for very long either.
