Hey Guys, Now out of every pro mod thread out there, im gonna go really specific down to this one cause i wanna know from you guys is "What is/are the best pro mod set out there?" Now it kinda works for each brands' set for reason that maybe they are your favorite set of pros, or you just like the design of the pro mod. which ever works for you guys... for me as a whole, I like KUSA's set of promods, specifically from the last year's release. Beside the fact 2 of my fav pros (Dave & Wyatt), this batch really have push thru with the production of the mods. With dave's 70/30 silk translucent & birch/padauk, tj's ash wood construction & super stick, first of it's kind in pro mods, both wyatt's champ & pro mod with the ever booming return of maple & the very first bamboo mod yet... well aestetically, DWI also has the most decent set of pro mods so far. Most notably Jarod mods, Kozo mod, & Chihiro Mod
Probably my overall favorite set are DWI's mods. Amazing playability (especially with the base cup hole on the Chihiro mod <3 and my kozomod is a slinging machine! lol), colorways are great, sticky af paint, a couple of my favorite japanese players are have mods, and etc. haha A close 2nd would be the latest Sweets prime promods. Bonus lols: Here's a pic of me and Kozorof at MKO this year: (I was so stoked she signed my kozomod)
Pro mod series: Krom Pro Slaydawgs Fave pro mod: Iji's pro mod. Been wanting one since they first released (full ash, white & red colorway, slaydawg size, LOL clear, the best) and finally copped one of the last 2 that Thorkild had leftover at the last day of MKO during their bakesale.
Kinda dig the look of the Sweets mods with the F3 maple kens, but I also like the old Sweets pro models from 2014 with the pro clear and chameleon/prism effect going on with the tamas. My Alex Ruisch mod looked like an actual orange!
Really, every company has its own unique design. They all have different shapes, and amazing designs. * KUSA's pro mods are amazing, and super classic. They all are unique to the pro, and have a range of paints (Gloss, silk, super stick) and different shapes (kaizen, and kaizen 2.0). Each pro designed theirs to their liking. * Grain Theory. I find these super unique because they have all different shapes, created in the United States by the pro themselves. They also get to chose the woods, and make endless spectraply variations. * KROM makes amazing prodawgs. That shape is a must-have in any collection. Also <{///LOL CLEAR\\\}> * Sweets originally made all the same design pro mods this recent colorway, and they all slay, recently Nick and Zach became pro with really cool mods. * SOL made their first pro mod, the Kevin DeSoto mod, and I can almost bet they will make more just as amazing as Kevin's mod, so look out! There are so many more, and all of them deserve equal credit...
Nothing beats the aesthetics and wood choices of the @TerraKendama pro models. I mean, the work really speaks for itself!
the IJI slayys. only the tracking is better on the other slay pros because the white is very translucent (i love it tho)
Yes!!! I have 2... The Martin and Rice and abso-fucking-lutely love them!!! Much like you can just *feel* the quality of the craftsmanship when you hold a Musou, the same with Terra. I hope to cop the Ansel soon... just waiting for another hand turned to order it with
When they gave Mac a dama care package before he was officially announced as a member of the Krom team I definitely knew I had to cop. So glad I managed to get it for $20 haha
