Has this been done? If not, LET'S DO IT! Let's make a Downspike Collab video...using ONE traveling dama. Comment below with your email if you're interested and I'll set up a google form to get everyone's shipping info I'll ship a Kendama to the first person to lace a trick on. Once laced, they'll pack it up ship it to the next person on the list. I'll set up a Dropbox folder where people can upload their unedited clip after filming. The Kendama will make it's way all the way around the circle, all over the world and when it gets back to me I'll take all the clips and make an edit. If you're down for this, you need to have: A HD camera to film with (can be a cell phone... if it's done well), $7-$30 to ship it to the next person. Domestic shipping should only be like $7-10 but anything outside of the US (if we have any) could be $20-30. I'll put a section on the signup form if you want to OPT OUT of international shipping so I can make sure to line you up with a low shipping cost. If you're in the same location as someone else who's also signed up, you could always pass the dama to them too! Time to film a clip. Once you receive the dama you'll have 2 weeks MAX to get your clip into the dropbox folder. At the end of that time, you'll have to ship it regardless if you've filmed or not. I don't want it to get to someone and have them stall out forever and the project die. I'll set up more official rules/suggestions for the filming aspect of things once I get enough signups to make this a legit edit. Things like "film at an iconic spot near you" would be awesome to really show the Kendama traveling the world! Who's down for this? I'm in. Suggestion: each clip could start with the player finding the kendama somewhere, and end with them either throwing it off screen or something like that, to show some continuity for the travel.
