The cups are ridiculous. They’re deeper than homegrowns, which really makes the lunars stick. The bevel is on the smaller side in order to help with stalls. It’s on the fairly slim side. Somewhat like a next gen. I haven’t tried the new RWB so I can’t say how it compares to that, but its fairly comparable to a next gen hg with deeper cups. Once the sarado gets pushed in a bit underbirds also lock in like nobody’s business.
Is the sarado hole not tapered? That indent on the ken from the cups being pushed down is weird. Usually a design like that leads to super loose cups, since they hit a wall at a certain point and can't go any lower. So if the wood above that line packs down you get eternal looseness.
