So I’ve been wanting to start filming myself jammin/doing tricks but hadn’t been able to get up the gumption. So I decided to make a New Year’s Resolution to film/post a trick everyday for the year! And it might only be Day 2 but it’s already helped me break the rut I was in combo wise and start thinking of creative combos to start working on! So this is just a post for anyone else out there who wants to start filming or is nervous about posting their film. My first post yesterday instantly became my most viewed/liked post and friends who don’t know what Dama is texted/DM’d me asking about it and commenting how cool/neat it looked! So get jammin and spread that Dama love!! If you guys are interested feel free to find my daily posts all of them are tagged with #dama365! And of course anyone and everyone is welcome to piggyback on my Resolution!
You should post some of them here for folks who don't check or have insta. Either way, good on you for sharing what you like to do. Now use the same dama the whole year and that will be an achievement. Haha
Ok! I’ll have to post some on here as well! And yea same Dama all year would be real impressive but I know it won’t happen. To many beauties to collect throughout the year and don’t wanna leave my collection to be sad and unplayed.
Yea I feel you there. It would be tough for anyone. Still something i want to try sometime though. With a fresh og mugen or something. That would be sick.
I got the Bonz Mod for Christmas so I’ll be jamming that for awhile! But I’ve about jammed my original D-KA Spec (red, black, and white) to shreds so definitely gotta scoop a new one of those this year!
Ahh. True. Well slay dawgs are dope too. I have an ash. It plays pretty well but lunars aren't great. Still like it though. But good luck to you in your future filming brother. Stack the clips and put em up here if you want.
OK i barely release edits for youtube cause i don't have a good internet or any resources to upload. Regardless, for those who wants to start doing edits, don't be afraid to just do it. For me it took me like half a year by the time i started before to do my first edit. Honestly it's just all potato tricks (basically noob tricks & 2 taps plane at the end) but i wasn't that nervous of what tricks i did but how i edit it. I was so stoke watching the final cut of it making it my achievements in creating content on youtube. By the time i get the oportunity to film again, i was doing short edits for ig like making slomos & add music, etc. Now for those who are nervous doing edits, try posting singles or short edit that fit ig. This will build up your composure & brush up your edit skills. Now if tricks are the case, keep the clips that is interesting or sketchy yet amazing (yeah as mush as possible keep it clean guys but if the trick is a win, then go for it, then prove it the next time...). Now i know criticism from others especially if that one could be a pro or someone who is credible & good, take it lighty & follow what they suggest. Now for those that are just other people, try just keep a blind eye on some negative & irrelevant or repetitve comments... tl;dr if you are a bit nervous try consistently post shorts on ig. go for the tricks you want...
