I’ve heard a rumor that in the most recent vids by @jamcotti on IG she’s playing with a Terra x Krom Kendama collaboration, and it’s potentially an Alex Smith pro mod. You guys know what’s up with this? Any more info would be greatly appreciated. Here’s the Vid by @jamcotti
I've never seen that tama before so that is definitely a possibility. Looks pretty nice, but that trick looks way nicer
Don’t know why I didn’t mention the trick, it’s so insane it makes my brain reject reality. Up is down, in is out and @jamcotti is my new leader.
Those tamas are from the DOTD(Dama on the Drive) beech dawgs. IIRC, Chris June also had one and @htimSxelA was lacing a trick with it on Dama on the Drive's insta page.
Thank you so much for filling us in!!!! That takes care of the rumor confusion. Thanks James! You rock!
I'm not sure about it. I think a few people have won it up at the Terra shop, but I think @htimSxelA should be your best bet at finding the answer to its origins and availability.
What James said, they had these as prizes during Van Jam 4 last September. I think they are getting ready to release it soon, so you should be able to purchase within the coming weeks
Time to build up the mini hype train for these (but they're probably going to play exactly like the 430 dawgs)
Ok they are acailable on the Terra web site https://www.terrakendama.com/collections/products/products/dotd-collab-slaydawg Whi has some knowledge to drop on Dama on the drive Van Jam ?
from Terra: DAMA ON THE DRIVE In 2017 we created the ultimate kendama community hub in Vancouver: a retail shop that doubles as a jam space, with the freshest damas in stock, and a huge collection you can demo for free. Dama on the Drive became a home for kendama, hosting countless events, and entertaining players and pros from every corner of the world. In 2018 we've decided to refocus our efforts back to Terra Kendama, which means Dama on the Drive will close. While we're sad to see it go, we're excited to return our focus to supporting players like you, worldwide. We have nothing but respect and appreciation for all of you that supported our shop in any way. DotD has been an experiment in kendama culture that accomplished great things in its short life. This Slaydawg was produced in collaboration with Krom Kendama; it is a limited production that was exclusively available in Dama on the Drive, and is now available online.
