Hi I am Eruel and I've been playing kendamas for 2 years and I'm from the Philippines, I started playing kendamas after seeing one personally I became curious and decided to watch some tricks and some ways how people play after seeing some cool tricks and how some pros play I immediately fell in love with it. My Ig @eruelursua Follow @goenKendama It features players from the Philippines.
@Eruel Ursua welcome to the boards. Good to have another representative from the Philippines. There's also a thread running in Sessions so if you have any meet-ups, jams, etc. go post about them there: If you happen to be in the Philippines.
Hey! My names Adam and I’ve been playing kendama for a little under 6 months! I live in northern Virginia. Sadly I haven’t met anyone that plays kendama anywhere around here. My favorite thing about kendama is that there is such a nice and supportive community! I also love the feeling of landing new tricks. My instagram is @kendama.av Go follow @lickedbevel and @kyl_dama.
@adamv27 Welcome to DS. You might check in this thread to see if there are any players near you. See you around the boards.

What's up guys IG lowlifegabe I live in SoCal IE area I was given a kendama over 2 years ago but barely touched it until last year a few months back met some people at my job that play and sparked my interest really enjoy the community don't really have any friends that play but I'm trying to spread the love haha
My name is Erin and I recently came across this amazing skill toy. I’m old in body (62) relative to most of you peeps but my spirit is still kicking butt. I live in a community with lots of other keen and active olsters and I’m trying to stir up some kendama jammming within my age group. At present there’s about 8 or 10 of us rocking the ‘dama and I hope to inspire more folks to join in chilling with us. In order to inspire more timid dama newbies, I have made a video series called “Kendamas for Grandmas”. The idea of the videos is to emphasize the simple moves and the relaxation that kendama play offers. I use myself as an example of the abilities of an ol’gal so that other folks over 30 will see that kendama can be enjoyed at any age and that there are lots of non-intimidating moves to try. @kendama_grandma Welcome to DownSpike. I'm going to look for the video series now, thanks for the heads up. (edit, found your series and subscribed.)
Hi, I'm Phoenix I'm from Quebec, Canada. I started playing kendama around October because of one of my friends, but it was mostly just fooling around. I started playing seriously around a month and a half. I've always liked skill toys or things with tricks that you can improve and I'm the kinda of person that always needs something to do with his hands so kendama is perfect! You can follow me on insta (or not) @Hapyxelor

Hi I'm Alex and I've been playing kendama with various levels of commitment over the last 10 years. I'm originally from Madison, WI though I am now in Minneapolis, MN for school and doing some work with Sweets and teaching dama in local schools through the Kendama Initiative. I'm stoked on being able to push kendama as a tool for learning and have been working on a few collaborative projects. My instagram is @delxndr and I would encourage people to follow @Joshuaflowgrove and the homie Justin, @kendamakid69.
