I started with a bamboo kendama from amazon in November 2017. Then I discovered that we had our very own dama store in Vancouver. I sent two of my friends there to get their first kendamas before I even made it there! Luckily I got to visit Dama on the Drive just in the nick of time before they closed in January 2018. But we still have Terra Kendama in town and now I have kendamas from them as well as a couple of their Terra pills. I like making kendama videos for beginners and old folks who want to give the dama a try. I pick up my kendama first thing in the morning before even having breakfast and it’s the last thing I put down at night. Ya, you could say I’m hooked on this little wooden skill toy!
Ordered my first kendama during black Friday and got it around the 1st of December. Been jamming since then when I'm not skateboarding or snowboarding. I've been super excited lately with my progression such as learning lunars, lighthouse, birds, and juggs. Been loci g the progressing and expanding my dama collection which consists of a couple prime customs some tributes and some other cheaper kendamas. I love seshing the dama now and hope to keep the love going.
Been playing since the beginning of October. So about 5 months now. I’ve seriously blown myself away with the amount of stuff I’ve learned. Six months ago, when I was just seeing Kendama in YouTube videos, I would’ve thought it’d take years to do some of the tricks that I can do within like 5 tries now. Plus, I’ve tried to do my best at spreading the love, I’ve got two of my friends into Kendama so far.
